We offer work experience to both the impaired (who perhaps require a period in a retail store organised for them by their case worker/carer through Government) and school students, only, (who perhaps have to do a week as part of their curriculum), we cannot and do not offer this to a person who wants work experience to attain a job, it’s only for what fits the former criteria.

Students: During your week here we teach electronic and manual stock control, shelf stock organisation, receiving of stock, labeling, POS (Point of Sale), EFTPOS, customer service and sales, telephone manner and techniques, Occupational Health & Safety and more! We are not a training organisation nor are we trained in the above, we simply have our act together and are eagerly sought after as a trustworthy company to give you a real taste of life. Do note, we are by no means a push over - if you plan to come here for a holiday or a week off school, reconsider - in the past we have sent students back to school after as early as one day. However, we are also proud to be responsible for turning around quite a number of young lives for the better.

Hours for work experience are exactly the same as the opening hours on our website and you are expected to adhere to them. Punctuality is valued highly in the working world and we are no different - both you and us start at 9.00am, not 9.01am or later, finishing 5.00pm. Do not arrive late and don't expect to leave early - this is how it works in the real world. Dress code is nothing over the top or provocative, no shorts - long or short, no baggies, no war camouflage gear and no thongs - simply neat clean and tidy with your hair arranged so customers can see your eyes and no metal or other body piercing visible.

Case worker: same as above but will often be for many weeks, up to perhaps 3 months.

No parking is offered or implied so public transport is the go as there is no popping out to shift cars every hour or so.
