Jan's poker run for charity - 29 March 2009
33 bikes and 42 riders and pillions met on Sunday morning at the car park of the Morphettville race course and, Jan, with 5 decks of cards in 'hand' lead us through to Willunga, Strathalbyn, Woodside and Holden Hill, the latter, our final destination was a welcome site as we not only found out the winners and losers but thanks to the Hogs Breath Cafe, 550 North East Road, Holden Hill, Ph: (08) 8369 1700 Email: hbhold@hogsbreath.com.au the tables were changed, because Jan & Ray were about to pay the food bill, the manager said, no way, this is our donation to this charity, so, thankyou on behalf of all of us for the Garlic toasted rolls and scrumptious finger food, piping hot and oh so delicious. Thank you also to the many who gave us donations along the way, especially the kind folk at Woodside and we know parked outside your homes did not intimidate you whatsoever, you gave freely. The day was picture and weather perfect, the ride just right, so, thanks Jan & Ray for again donating your time for this very worthwhile charity.
