Once again, like every year since Clipsal 500 adelaide inception,
Ray & Jan provide the Drivers Parade with 132 Harleys which do two
sedate laps before the main race on the Sunday, escorting the Drivers,
Grid Girls, VIP's and winners & grinners from various TV & Radio stations.

Who else but Ray & Jan could pull this off once again, for the price of one T-shirt 120 of us got to go around two laps of the Clipsal 500 and escort the CEO of this event, Murray Walker, the grid girls, Clipsal girls, all the drivers, some lucky winners of 5AA and 104.7 and the Variety, the Childrens Charity, and even Dinah, the lady who so generously outbid everyone at a charity luncheon with her squillion dollar bid, to participate today.
Ray, Dinah the lovely generous soul, & our Jan. Dinah outbid her rivals at a recent charity luncheon to be one of the lucky 120 on back of our Harleys for this years event.

2008 Clipsal
"Today at the track we had the best job in the world,well at Clipsal anyway, 4 of us had to teach the girls
how to get on and off our bikes safely, lesson is to tap us
on the shoulder and ask us, "are you ready for me", we then
steady the bike in readiness for them.......
It's all in a day's work for us.
These girls are the ones you see on our bikes on race day, flags first,
girls second and drivers etc. third, all in all there are 165 Harleys
that do two laps of the circuit, Clipsal is the only track in the series
that is under contract to do this, yet another coup for Adelaide."
